来自于澳洲布里斯本的The Veronicas是由两个双胞胎女生所组成的.她们自己写歌,自己唱歌.Lisa和Jessica 是同卵双胞胎,两人拥有意大利的血统.两人在澳洲布里斯本出生长大,也在那完成高中学业.
姊妹俩在年纪很小时,就充分的展现表演天份,曾经在许多当地电视节目中表演过.之后她们开始玩音乐,一开始是用 Lisa and Jessica这个团名表演,随后又更名为 The Teal.
最后,两人被华纳唱片公司的旗下的Sire Records看中,于2004年以两百万元签下唱片约,这家唱片公司来头可不小,目前旗下的歌手乐团有 The Distillers,HIM,Hot Hot Heat,与 The Futureheads...等等知名乐团.Lisa与Jessica两人会自己写歌,同时,两人也曾替一些歌手写过歌,像是 T.A.T.u的All About Us,,澳洲新兴偶像 Casey Donovan的Whats Going On以及女歌手Kate DeAraugo的Faded...等等.
Lisa 与 Jessica也被知名品牌 Calvin Klein与澳洲发型产品公司相中,担任澳洲地区的代言人..Lisa与 Jessica曾在美国知名节目Related演唱她们即将发行的单曲.The Veronicas的首张国际专辑在2006年2月正式发行,在三月,主打单曲4ever被电影足球尤物Shes The Man选中,其歌曲收录在该电影的原声带中.
成功在美国发展一段时间后，时隔两年，来自美丽欧洲的摇滚双子姐妹再次倾力奉献一张更高水准的精品佳作（Hook Me Up），同名单曲已经登上各大音乐电台。不知道是不是因为两人和Aly&Aj是好朋友还是其他什么原因，两支组合都在自己的又一张完整专辑中同时选择了走Electro-Pop（流行电音）的路线，听惯了Pop-Rock的感觉不知道这次的转型会给多少人带来惊喜！一个从制作再到录音都由姐妹俩亲自参与的作品，从整体到每个细节都呈现了完全不同的音乐理念，也许在摇滚的曲风里加入一些电音的元素，相信又会让一大批歌迷着迷！让我想起了Vanilla Ninja，她们的每张作品里都运行这纯正的Electro-Pop+Rock，这样的风格实在让我难以抵抗...
